Winkle Celebrates 75 Years



Founded by Vic and Jack Winkle in 1944, Winkle began as a humble company built as an electrical apparatus service shop and manufacturer of heating equipment. In 1992, Winkle was purchased by Richard Teaberry and Larry Teaberry Jr. In 2002, Winkle expanded with the addition of a distribution branch in Erie, Pennsylvania. While much has changed over the years, the basic principles that the company was founded on have not.

Winkle in the Community



This March, the Winkle team was proud to support the Potential Development Program as a sponsor at their 10th Annual Mahoning Valley Pizza Cook-Off. Members of the community, local pizzerias and companies came together to help raise over $90,000 to support Potential Development’s efforts in improving the lives of children with autism. After many pizza tastings, Bruno Bros. Pizza, Belleria, Pizza Joe’s and Cocca’s Pizza were crowned the 2019 Pizza Cook-Off winners.
